WHY not have it a changeable option under 'player options '
Therefore each player can set it according to their needs anywhere between two values, say :1~50k ?
Thereby catering to everyones needs instead of forcing a strict cap on everyone

This is a really good idea . Not too difficult to implement , and adds value to alliances

This could also be affected by wars etc (to actually give wars a purpose )

The NEW universe needs to be DIFFERENT from the exsisting universes , or else you ll just have players moving servers and abandoing others . Here's one thing which I've noticed : your raiding and have nothing to do ... Or your fleets away and you also have nothing to do ... Thus i suggest implementi...

Very True! One of the tactics I saw in use was a whole alliance farming one player, not giving them a second to breath until they quit. Its nasty but if you harass a player around the clock their growth will drop drastically. Being very aggressive and not giving players any wiggle room is really eff...

Not that some servers should be ignored, .... just the more players the greater the number of bad apples.... thus spend more time on the larger groups than the smaller... thats all im saying.

And yes some players are quite entertaing

Obviously the ones with the highest population would require more time spent making sure everyones happy though.....
I don't know what you guys have experienced, but in x and mass there seems to be very little (if any) suspicious growth, hits or players.
Speeds a different story though.....
