This is a bug. You should be able to build 1 small and 1 large shield.

You need a moon first. To get a moon, you need to have someone attack you with 1667 LF. This will give you a 20% CHANCE of a moon. It may take several tries but it is worth it.

Combat reports do not seem to resemble results given in simulators. I have sim'd several attacks and had 0% chance of losing ships but when I launch, I still lose random ships. This issue was evident in BZ too before it was switched to an external battle engine.

I think noob protection should be capped at 10k points like other games. After you reach 10k you should have a general idea of the game. So lets say I have 11k, I cant attack someone with 9.9k and vice versa. You cant have a rule allowing a lower rank player hit a higher rank player and have a rule ...
