Copied from another source: Any time a large battle occurs leaving more than 100k debris behind, the owner of the planet where the battle took place receives a moonshot, and if lucky, a moon. Each 100k debris gives a 1% chance of producing a moon, up to a maximum of a 20% chance with 2,000,000 debris.

But is it true that the range (in number of systems) of an IPM is determined by the Impulse Engine level: Range = (5 x Impulse Engine Level) - 1 So does that mean Impulse Drive level 5 would give (5*5 - 1) = 24 systems, meaning if my colony is at 1:5...

Yeah I agree, you leave stuff building and go watch some TV or browse the forums for 10-15mins and come back to check on it and you need to relog. It gets quite annoying.
