How do you use a jump gate? I have one but dont know how to use it. Do you know how to use it?

You need two for them to work

Yes. Once you have two, you click on the picture in the building screen and select the ships that you want transported.

Is there a limit in sending ships?

You can send as many as you'd like at once but you have to wait an hour to do it again.
