Hate it when people use this expression... There's a u in group... That's like me saying there's no "Pro" in "Beginner."

You sure about that reaper?

How about we start a thread about evaluation of moderators. Let's see how long till it get's taken down.

Hm, how about we create a survey for each moderator, and make it composed of yes or no questions?

Now where does the flaming come in eh?

what do you mean yes or no?

Like "Is reaper doing a good job as a mod?" yes or no
The results won't really mean anything unless you can say the reasons behind it.

LOL, it's called detailed questions

example: "Do you think Reaper uses moderation power too much?"

What is the point in asking something like that? There would be no consequence whatever you answer.

Something like "Is Reaper good enough in doing his job as a moderator?" would be more reasonable.
But then again, yes or no will not be enough.
Saying something is "is" or "is not" has no credibility without giving a reason behind it.

true enough i suppose.

An option to consider would be having someone willing to sit down and filter the results

I thought you mods are already doing that on the forums. Still that has not stopped players from flaming even with explicit warnings.

And who will ask the questions?

What was the reason behind the suggestion anyway?

Going in general won't address anything. You should say which ones are good and which are not and why.

"I'm sure a "thumbs up" from the players to the admins for the changes that were just made is more than what the admins are asking for.
If you don't agree with a certain change then giving a constructive criticism on the respective subject thread is a lot more effective.

Open discussions of changes and possible changes in the game is urged by the admins themselves.
Having an evaluation thread will only give trolls a place to flame the admins."

If we start talking about the admins themselves then it will start to become flames.

It is not like we can overthrow them anyway.
