well a think is best that players ho enter v mode
after update his points become -1
that way we will know ho is active and ho is not
also in scoreboard if player is vmode his fleet will not be showed in scoreboard even it has option turned on to show fleet.
only active players will show fleets in scoreboard
what you think about it
also to put in ranking
next names of players sommething like this:

Agreed. Can add "To be removed after the weekly reset"... a.k.a. - their points become all 0, except the "total" which is -1... In scoreboard (Top attacker and top defender, not weekly tops)- should be the same way...

I have to say I agree with this part. On Speed alone, the vast majority of the top 60 fleets (generally) are in vmode, several of whom I am quite sure will not be playing again anytime soon if at all. Let someone else fill the spot and have a little fun and motivation with a higher rank. Would make spotting potential targets a little easier too.

On Xtreme top 30 ranking there are sometimes as many as 20 accounts in vacation mode. Something is wrong with this. Please see my other post regarding implementing a cost for vacation mode.

+1 for sure.....have always wondered why vmoders are not removed....it doesnt make much sense to include them in the scoreboard.

I agree that Vmoders should be removed from scoreboard/rankings.
