have a friend attack you with 2k light fighters or so- this will give you about a 20% chance with a fleet u can easily defend against.

magic number is 1111 for LF
look at your fleet and think what you can sacrifice or dont like and work out how many to send for each ship to get total of 2 million debris
eg 267 HF
or 133 HF and 556 LF

is it not 2 000 000 / 510 = 3922 probes? (it should be why do probes only form 300 debris?)
never thought about moon shot with probes but i am now
it is cheaper but less cost effective as crystal more valuable than metal
but if you got lot of crystal stored and the difference is not that massive
plus you dont have to wait as the probes get there in 10 seconds or so (and with instant build for probes too)
my only question is can probes definitely form a moon like other ships?
