Like I and others have said before, if the total resource production is less than it is in X-Tream then the new speed server will not go any faster than the current severs. Resource production is the bottle neck in any of the universes (as it should be) therefore to achieve a universe that feels faster you must increase the amount of resources generated or increase how far those resources go (i.e. decrease the cost of ships and buildings).

Comparing TOTAL production of 2 universes with different planet count is FUTILE and non-constructive. In this sense of logic, a 0.5x speed universe with 81 planets would have a HIGHER TOTAL production. It is simply wrong.

SPEED will still be faster than X-TREME in a player progress and this is for many reasons. Here are some:
-Double construction speed
-1.5 times greater fleet speed
-Less planets needed to produce the same amount of resources (1.5 less planets plus the costs involved with building up these excess planets - you will need 16.5 planets in X-TREME after all to match the same progress speed in SPEED)
-Your opponents will not have 21 planets, they will have 11

SPEED and X-TREME are ultimately 2 much different universes. Whoever makes the mistake to think of them as similar, he will be simply starting with a bad strategy.

And that's how a rebellion against the top dies. (for some people at least)

Maybe we should just stop criticizing until the universe is out.Then we can see just how these speeds affect the game.

Would it be too much to ask if I say disable the "Imperial Support" in the first couple of weeks?
