In Standard Universe, I have moved a considerable fleet during the player score update time. This did not affect my overall score in anyway.

I'm not sure if it's correct. It would be good if fleet scores were included in the overall scores if the fleets are in the air or not. However, I think this is just a mistake,

Score updating takes time - this is how it works. There is no guarantee if the score will always include or always not include your fleet score when updating if you are moving your fleet during that time.

Let me know if this is the issue you speak of as I am not sure if I got it right.

Sorry, my explanation was probably a little unclear.

The scores update in Standard is 10 minutes past the hour. I launched a fleet at 10:06am. The travel time was 9 minutes. Whilst this fleet was "in the air", the scores should have updated. It was a 50 million point fleet, my overall account points should have dropped by that amount, 50 million points. However, it did not. This is no big issue to me, but when we are hunting fleets then we wait for this time to pass. If the scores are not updating then "Supernoobs" that stay within protection will never creep over that protection line.

So, has the score updating stopped working or has the time of the score update changed?

Well, it appears that Standard scores update normally.

You are however accustomed to the old update time. When we migrated the server, we changed the statistics update time (we sent a mass message about it). This change was server specific.

As you can see at the ranking page:
Statistics: (Statistics update at xx:25 of each hour)

Stats now update at minute 25 of each hour.
