I see no reason for techs being worked on to be shown, as there is just one and you can remember.

However, for ships i see a real purpose. This would be great for miners making cargoes around their planets and seeing when they finish for transporting etc.

pretty sure this is now a feature.It takes you to the buildings screen but regardless it still functions essentially the same.as for showing build times a prority would have to be assigned to ships,defenses research,or buildings if you have multiple structures building.or all could be shown.

I am unsure of server resources demand for this but I will approve it and put the constrain on developers. Our objective now after all is to populate a mass list of approved suggestions. We will then prioritize all of them and start implementing.

I can see the shipyard progress on the overview, but the research is all conducted at the same time on every planet, so that would just put more information that you already knew on every planet.

I was thinking it would only be shown on the planet that initiated the research...

Defenses/Ships progress can be positioned below planets perhaps, at overview?
