The universe is a large area. Most will never travel to the farthest edges. Not because space is a cold, lonely, dark place. No, but because most of the rulers over the planets can not brave the hostile environment. I have seen many times a emperor lose a fleet of ships and call it quits and fade into the blue nothingness. Ive seen many nobodys rise up to emperor role, and lead a mighty long lasting empire that struck fear into the hearts of people over systems. Truly anyone can become a mighty leader, and most do, but some, just some, might reach farther and truly push the boundaries or mere mortals and obtain the highest most respect title any universe can place on them, yes they will no longer be emperors they will become legends. But to do that the need to learn to hide from those bigger until the time is right to strike and take their place, no path is easy, but you can become the best. Never give in. some bigger empire keep attacking your citizens stealing their hard earned res, build storage dens. And learn to fleetsave, yes your people need your ships to defend them, be sure to learn to fleetsave (FS for short) as it is one of it not the most important part of leading your ppl. Remember we all have greatness in us, will you stand and fight and be remembered forever, or will you lay down and fade into the blue nothingness and be forgotten.
