It was the first time the SGC offered resistance in the war, but a very good one. Kudos!

My day today began with a bang, quite early.

While I was preparing for bed, I noticed several attacks from Oberon.

I was tired. I wanted to catch up on a few Zs. I mean, I had plans for the day, y'know?

I was going to go grocery shopping, pick up a few beers, and fetch some pots for the scallions and celery that I'm growing. I had my whole entire day well planned, but the key to that was actually getting some sleep. Instead, I devoted most of day to watching a computer screen while drinking a very nice Sumatran dark roast laced with a delightful Irish whiskey.

Two of his attacks landed, and he withdrew the remaining two upon realizing that 1) I was up and watching the situation; 2) that I had evacuated the first target; and 3) was preparing to ninja the second target.

So, then, awake I was - and figured I'd have some fun:

There were no resources on the planet. I was hoping to profit by the DF.

PinaColada collected that DF, and I missed it.

I was therefore determined to make my time with PinaColada more worth my while.

A fleet incoming (perhaps from a fleetsave) to that same planet now became my target.

PinaColada recalled that fleet, as I had expected.

Several hours following that, I had a welcome package prepared for PinaColada's returning fleet ~

Knowing that PinaColada had defenses on the planet as might kill off some elites I had included in the welcome package, I launched 15 IPMs immediately following the launch of my welcome package.

That bore fruit, but my welcome package did not accomplish its task.

I had only moments before upgraded my impulse, and miscalculated landing by a mere handful of seconds.

My launch was premature by seconds!

This was enough upon recall to provide a thirty second window, of which PinaColada took advantage.

I missed it.

I was really looking forward to sleeping in this morning. I truly was.

Missile attacks I know, but a form of combat. This is the calibre of attacks from SGC. It's great, this is why SGC never amounts to anything. They can only recruit those who are mentally challenged. I suppose, at the very least, it's a form of action from a nearly dead alliance. But one should ponder the combined level of IQ this alliance has. Time and time again, wasting resources, lol. So, just a brief example of what THEY have to contend with, Mwahahahahahahahahaaaa.
