No this topic isn't about how moons are created. I just wanna know how much debris does it take to produce a 1% chance of creating a Moon. Also, does the type of debris matter? If the amount required to make 20% isn't the amount required to form 1% chance times 20 etc, do tell me as well. If you can tell me the formula of how debris is calculated for chances, all the more merrier.
Also, do debris fields remain if a Moon is created from it?
I don't have the math for you, but moons are created from the chance and not the debris. If there is 400K created during the attack, all 400K will still be there after the moon is created.
also it is the total debries that give you the chance... so if you decide to use ships that dont cost as much crystal you will have to compensate with metal.
I can't confirm this, but given the myriad battle reports on the forums, it seems like you need about 2 million in total debris to get a 20% moonchance.
